Application Programs

1st Spring application, granular, slow-release, complete fertilizer & pre-emergent weed control. Provides necessary nutrients for spring development along with an industry leading pre-emergent. (Granular organic fertilizers are available at an additional cost)
2nd Late spring application, slow-release, complete fertilizer and broadleaf weed control. Continued introduction of proper nutrients and targeted weed controls.( 5 app customer receive an extra preemergent application at no extra charge.)
3rd Early summer application, slow-release, complete fertilizer, weed & surface insect controls. Continued introduction of Nitrogen, Phosphorus & Potassium nutrients, targeted weed controls and insect controls for surface insects.(*Optional Grub Control typically completed during this application).
4th Late summer/early fall application, slow-release, complete fertilizer and weed control.
5th Fall Application, includes a heavier rate of fertilizer and weed control as needed. (*Optional Lime application is done at this time to help sweeten the soil.)

Turf core aeration: This service helps control thatch, improves soil structure, root expansion and water/nutrient absorption. We can also integrate turf aero-seeding and/or turf slit-seeding to this service.
Perimeter pest control (foundation perimeter insect spray): This is a structural barrier treatment to help protect your home against insect pest invasion. We recommend a minimum of three applications per year.
Grub preventative: Merit grub preventative works! When properly watered into the soil, grub preventative dramatically reduces turf root damage caused by the feeding of the white larval (grub) stage of several common beetles like Japanese Beetles, European Masked Chafer Beetles, Northern Masked Chafer Beetles and others. By reducing grub activity, Grub Preventative can also reduce the serious damage that can be caused by the digging of skunks, raccoons, opossums and other animals searching for tasty things to eat. Grub Preventative is relatively inexpensive insurance when compared to lawn renovation.
Mosquito flea and tick reduction application: For 2022 we are offering mosquito flea and tick (MFT) applications. This service is typically applied along with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th fertilizer applications. We started MFT spray treatments in 2020 with good results.
