About Elliott’s Lawn Care

  • Elliott’s Lawn Care was launched over 18 years ago. But have been in the lawn care industry for over 44 years. I realized many years ago that consistent control of lawn weeds, timely protection from lawn insect damage and consistent turf color and vigor is what keeps customers coming back year after year. We will strive to continue to keep our clients lawns healthy and weed free.
  • Elliott’s Lawn Care does not take shortcuts regarding the turf care products we provide our customers. We use only complete, granular fertilizers with slow-release Nitrogen, top quality annual grass pre-emergence and industry leading liquid broadleaf weed controls. Each customer scheduled for a  four application program, receives one application of pre-emergent for annual grass control and one application of insect control for surface insects. Complete slow-release fertilizer and broadleaf weed controls (as needed) are included with every treatment, weather permitting.  Beginning in 2019, our customers scheduled for at least five standard applications will receive two applications of pre-emergent annual grass control for Crabgrass, Foxtail, Goose grass and other troublesome annual grassy weeds.
  • Organic granular fertilizers are also available on request.  If annual grassy weed pre-emergent control, broadleaf weed control or insect controls are desired, we would be utilizing traditional, synthetic control materials.  We have not identified organic weed and insect control materials that provide the dependable results required.
  • Other services available are fall hollow-tined core aeration, grub preventative and perimeter pest control structural foundation applications
  • Army Worms had become a new problem in 2021. We received our first call about a  browning of a lawn in  late July.  Since then we have received close to 100 calls from customers and non customers. They are a new problem in are area. They can damage an entire lawn in a day or two, unless they are not controlled.  For 2022 we do not know what to expect, army worms have never made it this far north before. We are told they cannot survive with our winter temperatures. But we will be ready if they become a problem again.,
